Boys Town Social Skill: Going to an assembly (Sep. 16-20)

  1. walk quietly in the hallway
  2. sit in your assigned seat (or section)
  3. listen attentively
  4. clap at an appropriate time, in an appropriate manner
  5. wait to be dismissed

Virtue: Generosity (Sep. 16 – Sep. 20) – Giving of oneself in a willing and cheerful manner for the good of others.

September 17 – Health Screening Day (If your child wears glasses, it is important for them to bring them on this day)

October 10 – No School | Parent Teacher Conferences 12-7pm

October 14 – No School | Teacher Institute

Volunteer Opportunities 

New volunteer opportunities are now available! NAM is currently seeking volunteers to make our STEM Club a success. Junior High Sports starts next week. Those opportunities will be available soon.   Volunteer – North American Martyrs Catholic School (namartyrs.org)

School Activities

Does your 2nd – 6th grade find adventures while reading?! Our Book Bites Club is waiting for you! Click the link below for more information. 2024 Book Bites Letter 

Are you curious? Do you like having fun with hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities? Then this club is for you! This will be the first of TWO STEM clubs offered for 3rd-5th grade this semester! The same

 activities/lessons will be taught for each club though. This exciting club for 3rd-5th graders will focus on many aspects of STEM, from creating ecobots to help clean up a fake environmental spill to building towers to making ice cream and more! The club will be offered through the University of Nebraska 4-H – Extension office. Read more and sign up here!

Cheer Camp 
The Cheer Team at Lincoln Pius X High School is hosting its annual Junior Cheer Clinic from 3:30 to 5:30 pm, Saturday, Sept. 21 in the Pius X Commons. The kids will learn cheer routines through a variety of fun activities and have an opportunity to perform their cheers during the Pius X home football game starting at 7pm on Friday, Oct. 4.
